National Safe Boating Week kick-off features free life jacket giveaway

In cooperation with the California State Parks Division of Boating and Waterways we will be kicking off National Safe Boating Week on Sunday, May 21st with our annual Safe Boating Day event  featuring free activities including kayak and stand up paddleboard lessons and rentals, vessel inspections, and a life jacket giveaway.  Read More

A recently approved law in California will address safety concerns of California power boaters.  On September 18, Gov. Jerry Brown signed a boater safety bill requiring all operators of powerboats in California to be in possession of a Vessel Operator Card and pass a safety course. Read More
