Paddling Membership
At just $34/month our Paddling Membership provides you with access to paddleboards, single kayaks, or double kayaks. At only $1 more than a single rental per month, this membership is a no-brainer for those looking to regularly get out on the water. Whether you are looking for a vigorous workout or leisurely relaxation, this is a great way to access the bay without hauling or storing equipment. And if that’s not enticing enough, membership includes these added benefits:
- 20% off guest rentals (member must be present, up to four guests per visit)
- 10% off classes and lessons
- Complimentary Instructional Clinics

Sailing Membership
For those that have completed sailing lessons at MBAC or already know how to sail, our Sailing Membership is the most affordable way to access sailing on Mission Bay. For only $48/month our sailing membership provides you access to sailboats you have completed a skills evaluation on through completing a class or lesson at MBAC, or through a Membership Orientation. For sailors who are new to MBAC, the 2-hour Membership Orientation is included in the $150 initiation fee. The initiation fee is waived for MBAC sailing students who are currently checked off on equipment through having previously completed an MBAC class or lesson. Sailing Membership includes these other great benefits:
- Initiation fee waived for first-time members who have completed an MBAC class or lesson and are currently qualified to rent
- 10% off classes and lessons
- 20% off paddleboard and kayak rentals
