Marine trash collecting robot showcased at MBAC

The Rozalia Project was at MBAC this month showcasing it’s new trash hunting robot which helps to keep our bays and ocean clean.  The stop at MBAC was part of a nationwide tour to raise awareness and educate the public on keeping our waters clean.

The robot found a few items around the dock area of MBAC, including a swim fin, and some kind of fisherman’s net, and had no problem bringing them to the surface for removal.  To learn more about the Rozalia Project or their mission to remove marine debris from the surface to the sea floor through action, technology, outreach and research visit thier website at www.rozaliaproject.org.

The 5 day weather forecast for San Diego looks a little more like you would expect for July than for the beginning of November.
