We have been having such a great time in our Fall Youth Watersports programs, and we don’t want you to miss out on your last chance to join us in 2020. With the year quickly coming to an end, our November enrichment activities will be the last opportunity for your camper to safely get outdoors with other kids and experience some quality fun on the water.

If you are looking for plans this President’s Day weekend, how about spending the day at MBAC for some outdoor fun with STEM? On Sunday, February 16th we will be offering a double feature of two of our STEM Explorations youth classes: Think Like a Scientist from 9:00am-11:30am and our ROV Design Challenge from 12:00pm-2:30pm. There will be a supervised lunch break for students participating in a full day of STEM classes.

Each year on the weekend prior to Thanksgiving break we hold an annual “Wakesgiving” Youth Wakesports Session. This year’s Wakesgiving event will be on Sunday, November 24th from 12pm-3pm and is an opportunity for kids 6-17 to ride behind our world-class Nautique wakeboarding and wakesurfing boats without waiting until summer camp.

In this fun and educational program students will collect and get a face to face with planktonic organisms that, though small, have a BIG impact on our entire planet!

However, with new technology, the aid of bright young minds, and human ingenuity we are coming even closer to discovering what lies beneath the surface. The Mission Bay Aquatic Center invites kids to participate in our STEM Explorations: ROV Design Challenge on Saturday, November 9th where they can practice the concepts that scientists confront to explore our underwater world.
